My hometown

My hometown-qingdao is located eastern on the China map , she is next to the Yellow sea and
opposite yellow sea abut Korean and Japan . As word-known tourist resort qingdao own very well mouth-watered historical and multicultural background. The compiling 2008 Olympic sailing boat item will be hold here ,without any doubt she will become the most charming coastal city in China.

She has many beautiful sites for visitors. For example, at May 4th Square, you can wortch a big red torch right on the coastline. Measuring 30 meters high, it represents the striving spirit of the city. There are a lot of seagulls flying in the sky. Seagulls are the best friends of the residents of Qingdao. You feel relaxed and happy at the sight of these lovely seagulls flying over the blue seawater. You can also go to Zhan Qiao Pier. When you walk along the pier, you feel the sea breeze. If you can afford the time, you can take a long ride to Laoshan, a mountain to the east of Qingdao. There you can enjoy a splendid view of the blue sea and the green mountains mingled together. Apart from these famous sites for visitors, Qingdao has many places to play too. Zhongshan Park is one of the places local residents go to see the wild animals and to play in the amusement park. There, we can enjoy a ride on a “train” or ride bumper cars, corsair, etc. Or if you like fish, you can go to Qingdao's underwater world. You can see a great number of different fishes in the ocean through glass windows. It's so interesting and fun! If you want to swim, there are several wonderful beaches in Qingdao. You can either lie on the beach to have a nice sunbath or you can swim in the ocean like a fish. If you want to have more fun, each year, there are a great many festivals in Qingdao like “Qingdao International Beer Festival”, “Qingdao Fashion Week”, “Qingdao Ocean Festival”, and “the International Festival of Sand Beach Culture”. At “Qingdao International Beer Festival”, you can drink a lot of different kinds of beer. The Festival is not only a fun time for beer lovers, but also an important festival for every resident in Qingdao.
In the end, I want to say I love my hometown-Qingdao.
