Dublin is situated on the Eastern coast in Ireland . It's built on the River Rephe. The city is divided into 24 postal districts. Even number is on the south side of the river and the odd number is on north .
The city also has two canals, the grand canal on the south side and the royal canal on the north side . Canals used to play an important part of the city commercial life, transporting goods to other countries,
but today they are only used for pleasure. The real city centre is the area inside two canals,
and outside of this are rings of villiges, such as Red Mind and Renero the south side, and Fisbiging and Redole on the north side. beyond these villages are the suburbs, which has grown very fast over the last 30 years. the population in the great Dublin area is now well over 1 million.
